Giving users options

  • I am seeing in these forums that you have played around with various input methods then given them up. Is there a chance that the support can be built in (and improved by later version and/or custom packages added by users)? Just to give each user the options to use what works best for them?

    There are a number of other packages I would like to try out in a vr os. physically walking around in the os instead of keyboard/mouse. (this is the cheaper of the two major options)
    leap's vr right that is mounted to the front of the vr headset.
    dexmo hand exo-skeletons
    The oculus also has a motion tracking system similar to the leap motion setup.

    What about other vr headsets? Does it have to be oculus? Cardboard, Vive, GearVr, OSVR, StarVR, Fove?

    I would love to be able to use hand signs to make a virtual keyboard appear then type on it for when I am coding.

  • this is a start for a virtual keyboard using only two fingers but they are working on 10 finger input.
